From the Chairman:
South Central Newfoundland Club (SCNC), a regional club of the Newfoundland Club of America (NCA), has initiated and designated a rescue committee to provide rescue service within the region served by the South Central Newfoundland Club. The purpose of SCNC's Rescue Program is to prevent the suffering of homeless Newfoundland dogs and whenever possible, place them in good homes. SCNC's Rescue Committee works within the guidelines established by the South Central Newfoundland Club and the Newfoundland Club of America's Rescue Committee.

Please read SCNC's Rescue Committee's Policy regarding Newfoundlands in need.

When a Newfoundland is placed with its new family, a member of our committee will be in contact with the new family to encourage and help with any adjustments. A $350.00 donation for adults, or $450 for puppies, is requested to help defray the actual expenses incurred by the committee for the care of Newfoundlands surrendered to SCNC Rescue.

If you are interested in adopting a Newfoundland, please fill out our Rescue Placement Questionnaire (in PDF format or Word format) and return it to the address printed on the application or email as attachment to:
