Dec 2004 Christmas Tree Pull

Dull’s Tree Farm offers a great selection trees for that perfect Christmas. Our Volunteers met customers in the field, and walked with them during their selection process. After Families cut their tree, it would be loaded onto the dogs cart or sled, and then pulled back to the barn. There it would be measured, the needles shook off, wrapped, and then sent on its way to be decorated.

Families, and the local community came out to not only get their tree, but to meet and snuggle with the dogs. Newfs of all ages, got into the spirit of the day. Some who are retired, and some who will be ready to pull their share in a few years, worked at greeting every visitor. Fun was had by all, and the pot luck chili provided food for everyone. A substantial amount in donations was received for South Central Newfoundland Clubs Rescue Program. This money will be used to help pay for spay/neutering and misc. Vet. care for surrendered dogs in need. We cannot thank everyone enough for his or her time, energy and donations. A special THANK YOU to Dull's Tree Farm for their hospitality. We truly appreciate everyone’s effort.
